Banana Cake with Sour Cream


Banana Cake
  • Ingredients
  • 115g butter
  • 11/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 11/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup of mashed banana
  • Icing
  • 250g softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar
  • 11/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Mix together until smooth, spread over cooled cake.
  • How to make
  • Preheat oven to 180 c
  • Grease and line a loaf pan.
  • Cream butter with sugar.
  • Add eggs, 1 at a time, beat well.
  • Sift flour and baking soda into mixture and combine.
  • Add sour cream, milk and mashed banana.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Bake in loaf pan for 50-60 minutes.
